Rose de Rescht (in culture before year 800) is an oldfashioned Damask rose with an unknown origin. Brought from Rescht in Iran in 1949 by Linsay, and since then this rose has been spread around the world. Double, carmine red roses with an agreeable scent, which can be used in cooking. The shade tolerant shrub remounts and grows to a height of approximately 1,5 metres. Can be propagated by cuttings.
