Alba Maxima
Alba Maxima, syn. Zon 7.

A White Beauty
The white shrub rose Morden Nowbeauty blooms willingly all through summer. The semi double roses are so beautiful and the buds, with their plae pinkish streaks, are so pretty! This low growing shrub is suitable for the front of a rose border, with taller shrubs behind.

Chloris
Zon 5.
Chloris (around 1820: parents unknown), syn. Rosée du Matin/Belle Elise, is an old alba rose which has been named for the Greek vegetation Goddess Chloris. Gorgeous, scented, light pink roses which are darker in the middle. Once flowering during July. The shrub is undemanding and shade tolerant with only a few thorns. It easily produces runners and can also be propagated by cuttings.

A Late Beauty
Burnet Irish Marbled is the last of my pimpinellifolias to start blooming. But it's well worth waiting for! The fact that it's somewhat late, might depend on that it's growing in a semi-shaded spot. The roses are so beautiful!
