Rose de Rescht
Förra sommaren var min Rose de Rescht översållad med ohyra. Jag klippte ner den rejält och tog glesade ut den. Nu ser den frisk och fin ut med mängder av blommor och knoppar.
Last summer my Rose de Rescht did not look well at all. I cut it down and took away the oldest branches. Now it's healthy and full of flowers and buds.

Rödaste röd
Buskrosen Marie Popelin, som jag tagit hem från Daniel Schmitz i Belgien, blommar med de allra rödaste rosorna. Både rosen och doften är ljuvlig!

Goda nyheter
Min egna roshybrid 'Patrik' har inte gett upp, trots allt. Nere vid marken kommer små blad - så gissa om jag är glad!?! Förutom Poppius och Moje Hammarberg blommar idag också Blanc Double de Coubert och Totenvik. Det blir visserligen dåligt med försommarblomning bland rosorna i år, men den som väntar på något gott...

The season of Roses is a bit late this year, but it's coming...

Årets första rosor
Den kalla, torra och soliga vintern tog död på några rosor - bland annat min egen hybrid Patrik. Det gör mig riktigt ledsen. Många andra rosor fick stora skador och jag blev tvungen att klippa ner dem rejält. Men nu blommar i alla fall årets första rosor: Poppius och Moje Hammarberg!
The cold, dry and sunny winter killed a couple of rose shrubs. Among them, my very own hybrid Patrik. It really makes me sad. Some other rose shrubs were badly damaged and had to be cut down really hard. But anyways, the first Roses of this year are in bloom: Poppius and Moje Hammarberg!
